Ali Hedin is a party girl, cooking and crafting out of a renovated fire station with her husband and three children in Seattle, Washington. Her simple approach to making everyday a reason to celebrate has made her an admired contributor to magazines, television, and a published author. Ali is currently the Founder & CEO of Weeknight Society, a mobile grocery shopping, cooking, and menu planning application.
In 2004 Ali began her media career as a regular contributor to local television stations and was soon picked up as the Style Editor for 425 Magazine, a local lifestyle publication. As the Style Editor, Ali created an article in each issue of the magazine for ten years giving readers simple solutions to entertaining in the Northwest. In 2011 she published an entertaining and cookbook based on her work titled Entertaining at Home.
In 2008 Ali created the award winning blog, Weeknight Party Girl. The blog was featured in Good Housekeeping, Better Homes & Gardens, Sweet Paul Magazine, HGTV.com, and MarthaStewart.com, to name a few, before going on hiatus in 2014. With children enrolling in school and finally having a few moments alone again, Ali came back to cooking, blogging, and hosting cooking classes in 2016.
Ali loves sharing her expertise in front of the camera and has been lucky to work with local affiliates of FOX, NBC, and ABC in Seattle. She continues to share simple entertaining ideas and recipes each month on Q13 FOX Morning News.
